Event Details

This innovative and engaging session draws on up to date research to help communicators identify (and mitigate) the signs of waning employee engagement. By surveying IABC members, research conducted for Manchester Business School shows that a Corporate Personality Scale can be used to compare different identity constructs (self image, role identity, corporate image, and corporate identity) with practical applications for managing reputations. Through the language of film, arts and cultural icons, attendees will: Learn what Beckham, Bauhaus and branding have in common; Understand how to use the Corporate Personality Scale; and Gain useful tips on the use of language and identity badges in organisations. Rob Briggs, FRSA, MSc, is Vice Chair of the IABC Europe and Middle East Region and President, IABC Netherlands. He is based in London and Jersey where he is Senior Manager, Communications for RBC Wealth Management, British Isles.
